We are a collective of university-based teacher educators and researchers with substantial experience as teachers and school leaders. We reject the reform/defend dichotomy that so often afflicts discussions of teacher education and are working towards transformative programmes of profession-led teacher development to which we believe universities can make a distinctive contribution.
Our first publication – now published and free to download from this site – is Teacher Development 3.0: How we can transform the professional education of teachers. All of our work is primarily intended to stimulate innovation among higher education-based teacher educators but we also wish to address the teaching profession, parents/carers and the wider community.
